Eliza is a registered psychotherapist and a highly accomplished professional in the field of trauma therapy, holding a master’s degree in social work and numerous certifications. These include EMDR therapy, sensorimotor psychotherapy, neuro optimal feedback, clinical hypnosis, and safe and sound protocol training. We’re diving into the relationship between isolation, loneliness, and brain health!
With a background working with adolescents abroad, and in private practice with people of all ages, Eliza brings a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for helping others heal from trauma. She focuses on intergenerational trauma and the impact of loneliness and isolation on mental health.
Eliza shares her personal journey of discovering her calling in the field of trauma therapy, including her work with individuals involved in the criminal justice system and those affected by domestic violence. She also discusses the unprecedented challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic on mental health, particularly among children. We are grateful to have Eliza’s expertise and insights on our show.
