Less Doing and More Being with Naturopathic Doctor Dominika Zarzeczny

Naturopathic Healing

Dominika Zarzeczny is a naturopathic doctor who has dedicated the last seven years of her practice to understanding how the state of our nervous system influences health outcomes. She studied somatic relational counseling with the late Dr. Michael Sieck, founder of the Three Fold Way, and honed her coaching skills with Dr. Marti Glenn and Ken Bruer of Ryzio.

Dominika applies the principles of neuroscience, attachment theory, mindfulness, and polyvagal theory to her inquiry process and counseling with patients. Her “bottom-up” or bio-psychosocial approach to working with patients recognize the roles that biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors play in the development of mental health and chronic diseases.

In our conversation, Dominika provides many golden nuggets as we discuss her work, the difference between languishing and burnout, and the importance of giving yourself permission to be with yourself in order to heal.

In this episode, you will learn the following:
1. The importance of having an integrated approach to health and healing.
2. Why is trauma-informed training so important?
3. The importance of standardization in the coaching industry.
