Intergenerational Trauma and Promoting Long-Term Healing in with Jeff Jones

Intergenerational Trauma

Jeff Jones grew up with addiction in his extended family, but it wasn’t until he became a therapist that he started to uncover the impact that this intergenerational trauma had on his life. Upon this realization, while becoming a therapist, he began navigating his own healing journey to a life beyond addiction.

After working as a professional with traditional approaches to addiction and recovery, he started working with families to connect the dots of past challenges to present conditions and create new pathways to long-term healing outcomes. He now focuses on Nutritional Recovery Life Coaching packages to get the best long-term outcomes for every member of the families he works with.

In this episode, Jeff and I discuss his work and how rebalancing nutritional deficits can optimize the body and mind.

In this episode, you will learn the following:
1. The importance of the intergenerational map and how it can be used to help people.
2. How attachment in the early years will determine how someone shows up.
3. What you can do if you or your family is struggling right now.
