From recovery to discovery…of the real you!

After the party is over – from recovery to discovery of the real you!

I am super excited to share with you the creation of my new baby: The Recovery Concierge.

I say baby, because the recovery industry is birthing new ways as to how we best serve recovery and sobriety support, and personally I think we are in the height of an industrialized revolution.  I have witnessed gaps in the system, and how a one-size fits all approach to recovery fails too many people.

Change is everywhere; reducing shame, stigma, breaking anonymity, neuroscience, diet, yoga, new and emerging support groups, sober coaching, peer mentoring with lived experience. So there never has been a better climate suited for trying newer and emerging best practices, while offering us the ultimate goal,  true happiness and sobriety!

So this is why I am here. I get you, been there, done that, read the book, seen the play!  I have witnessed the challenges with myself, my family and I have experienced firsthand the intimate nature of the problems that are challenges when trying to define a new lifestyle without drugs and alcohol!

I get that this can be completely overwhelming, not knowing what the new rules are, how to let go and not worry!! You are lonely and isolated, your secrets are killing you, trying to keep away from triggering relationships, and situations which were HUGH triggers for you in your old life.

Many of the people I work with have little confidence as to how they manage socially without drugs and alcohol.  Simple everyday things like dating, how to have fun, and sometimes also feeling the need to make up for lost time are all SO challenging.  Fighting off the plaguing thoughts that go through your mind; “If you really knew me you probably wouldn’t like me, or dam, it is SO  hard to be ME!”

Many decisions are made out of fear of relapse,  and not for the desire to stay sober. If you truly believed you can create the life you only dream of, there would be no reason to treat yourself so negatively. Changing your complete paradigm of how you see yourself and your potential is like taking a blind leap of faith.

This is a lot of pressure for anyone, and you may wonder if there a hand book for this?  You betcha there is!

The Recovery Concierge is a high touch premium recovery monitoring and monitoring service.  Building support for you as unique as you.  Through The Recovery Concierge you will be able to attain your best life possible  which will show you how to produce long term sustainable change.

Because if you are not getting an upgrade from your old life, why the hell do you want to hang out in Sobriety land?

To support your recovery journey, I’ve put together a free resource called The Daily Practice, and you can get your free copy of it here.

i love your website and your “new baby”. Have been
In the addictions field for over 20 years, and could not agree with you more about being at the cusp of a revolution in how we treat addictions! I wish you huge success, and will support your efforts in any way I can!!

Taking a stand for what I believe is going against “normal” best practices for addiction and recovery treatment, can be quite controversial. Thank you for your vote of confidence, it means a lot to me. I would love to learn more about your work in this area. Let me know if you like to set up a time to chat.
